With the CISA Certification you are into auditing field performing audit functions in the IT department of all the different types organizations. You may be auditing Microsoft centric products in one company and unix centric products in next company. Additionally there could be other products which are new to the market. But these audit skills are not focused on specific software or tool. When you move from one client the software skills and knowledge you acquired in the previous company is not useful. So you need to move away from being a generalist and become a specialist. Which will open doors to better pay and better opportunities? Whenever you go into a project you should clearly be able to visualize the end product or report. When you are generalist you do not have that option. With the different environments there is no benchmarks and standard way to perform the data.

With the mature auditing market and multiple tools available it is the right time to focus on a particular tool. Once you are master of the tool that will give you the freedom to focus on that particular tool. Now your lacers focus in on the particular tool only. This could instantly make you a specialist in that particular tool. This could be auditing to on the business process or vulnerability or risk.
SAP GRC 10.0 Skills:
SAP is used in major corporations and has very huge install base. This makes it a prime candidate for audit compliance. The SAP GRC 10.0 Access Controls, Process controls and risk management gives plenty of opportunity to focus on specific area within the tool. For working in access control you need to have SAP Security / Basis experience and for the process control / risk management you need to have functional / Audit and business knowledge
