UCON RFC Security Concept
External access to RFC function modules requires assignment to the UCON communication assembly (CA) Otherwise external access is blocked Configuration can be activated client dependent Protects external access – internal RFC is not restricted
For an Internal auditor before tool there was no way to control the RFC calls being made to the external systems. They do not know who made the call, which system made the call or how frequently the call was made or and what functions were executed.
Now all the RFC Destinations have to be approve before the connection can be allowed. This gives a extra level of security for the company.
UCON Phase Tool endlessly monitors external SAP RFC calls for Data from different systems and then the system administer can be review the calls and identify all the SAP RFC call which can be approved. Then if the RFC call is approved and legitimate then they are assigned to UCON Communication Assembly. All the SAP RFC Calls not approved will be blocked

The company using SAP can fully understand and allow only the external accessibility of RFC function modules ALL external SAP RFC function module calls.
