Problem: You find the program or table entries are back to where they were 3 month ago. So all the work is disappeared
Solution: This is because your old transport got wiped out your changes
Step 1: Go to SE10 and click on transport organizer tools find all the requests which have the particular table. You will search R3TR-TABL /TABU for Table. If you know the particular Table put the table name
Step 2: If you had transported the SAP Table 5 times you should have number in sequence of the transport which contained the roles
Step 3: Now go to production put the transport requests in table E070 this will show you the sequence the transport went into that particular system.
Step 4: If you see the same request twice than the older transport wiped your changes
